Samuel Leupold
Chief Executive Officer
Samuel has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector and has deep expertise in development strategy and execution. Prior to becoming CEO, Samuel served as Chair of Corio’s Board since the company’s launch in April 2022. Samuel was previously Chairman of Wind Energy at Macquarie’s Green Investment Group, and formerly CEO of Ørsted Wind Power.

Richard Russell
Chief Financial Officer
Richard has spent over 17 years in the renewable energy industry in a variety of finance and commercial roles. Prior to joining Corio Richard was Group CFO of Renewable Energy Systems (RES) Group; an international developer, constructor and operator of grid connected infrastructure.

Benoit has over 24 years global experience in the energy industry as an executive commercial leader. Benoit's previous roles include leading all procurement activities for Vattenfall's renewable energy activities globally.

Chief Development Officer
Guillermo has over 17 years of experience in the origination, development, delivery, acquisition and financing of over 15 GW of renewable energy projects, the majority of which have been in the offshore wind sector.

Eric has nearly 30 years of energy sector senior management experience in government and business, with expertise in project development, business development, and public policy. Eric was previously VP for Offshore Wind New Business at Avangrid Renewables.

Sharn has 20 years of experience in the energy sector, specialising in origination, development and delivery of renewable energy projects. Prior to joining Corio, Sharn worked with Statkraft, E.ON and Macquarie.

Head of APAC
Yi-Hua has over 15 years of experience in investment banking, energy, utilities, infrastructure and renewables investment and development. He joined the Macquarie Group in 2014 and has played a key role in a number of their offshore wind projects.

Woojin has over 14 years of experience in energy, infrastructure and project financing. He is the Vice Chairman of the Korea Wind Energy Industry Association, director of the South-North Korea Wind Development Association.

Shankar has over 35 years experience in the infrastructure and energy industry including in various senior executive roles in construction, project management and business development. Shankar’s most recent energy sector role was as CEO of Tractebel and EVP/ExCo member at Engie responsible for Business Development, Research & Technology, and Innovation.

As Managing Director, COO, and Head of Asset Creation and Management for MAM Green Investments, he oversees portfolio performance and strategic initiatives.
