Corio named Offshore Developer of the Year in Wind Investment Awards
Corio Generation has been named Offshore Developer of the Year in the prestigious Wind Investment Awards.
A judging panel of industry peers said "Corio has certainly hit the ground running - doubling their portfolio to 30 GW, whilst also setting the foundations of the business" during a complex transition and high growth phase.
At the awards ceremony in London, Corio’s CEO, Jonathan Cole, was named Industry Leader of the Year, while Corio also won Equity Deal of the Year for its partnership with leading global investor Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan.
Corio was launched just over a year ago by Macquarie Asset Management’s Green Investment Group. The business combines world leading industrial and financial expertise and is helping to meet significant global demand for offshore wind power.
